This policy explains what we collect when you order from Crackers Online Chennai, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Your order details — name, mobile number, email address, delivery address, landmark, city and pincode.
- An optional map pin, if you choose to drop one at checkout.
- Payment reference — for bank transfer orders, the UTR number you enter. We never see or store your card, bank login or UPI PIN.
- Technical data — your IP address and browser information, collected automatically by our hosting and security tools.
Why we collect it
- To confirm, pack, deliver and invoice your order.
- To call or message you about that order.
- To help our delivery team find your address.
- To meet our tax and record-keeping obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
The map pin
Dropping a pin at checkout is entirely optional. If you do, the coordinates are stored against that order only and are encoded into a QR code on the delivery invoice so our rider can navigate to you. Skip it and we simply use your typed address instead.
Who we share it with
- Our delivery staff, who need your address and phone number.
- The transport company you select, for orders shipped outside our four home districts.
- Our payment and email service providers, to the extent needed to process your order.
- Government authorities, where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Account details are kept until you ask us to delete them.
